Telč is located in the southern part of the so-called Českomoravská Vrchovina (i.e. the Czecho-Moravian Highlands). Its Old Town is an exquisite collection of historic buildings from various architectural periods. To the pride of its inhabitants, in was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992. [link]
